Terms and conditions of sale

1) Definitions

The term “online sales contract” refers to the sales agreement concerning the services provided by the Seller to the Buyer within a remote sales system using telematic tools organized by the Supplier.

The term “Buyer” refers to the individual or legal entity who makes the purchase under this contract for purposes beneficial to their activities.

The term “Supplier” refers to the entity executing the sale of the services covered by this contract.

 

2) Identification and Obligations of the Parties

Supplier:

The services covered by these general terms and conditions are sold through a system of telematic tools organized by Salus Internazionale Ecm Srl, located in Rome (RM), Via Monte Zebio, 28, registered with the Rome Chamber of Commerce under no. 411877 in the Companies Register, tax code no. 02554530580, VAT no. 01076331006.

Buyer:

The Buyer expressly declares that the purchase is made for purposes necessary to their commercial or professional activity, specifically during the 46th SIME Congress to be held in Rome on May 16-17-18, 2025.

 

3) Object and Conclusion of the Contract

Under this contract, the Supplier sells and the Buyer purchases remotely, using telematic tools, only the tangible movable goods indicated and offered for sale on this website.

The contract between the Supplier and the Buyer is concluded exclusively via the internet through the Buyer’s access to the website, where, following the provided procedures, the Buyer formalizes their purchase request.

The Buyer will complete and submit the online order form, which constitutes an irrevocable order, displayed on the order summary page. This page, which can be printed, will include the details of the Buyer and the order, the price of the purchased item, and the terms and conditions of payment. Upon receiving this order, the Supplier will send a confirmation email and/or display a printable web page summarizing the order, including the data entered by the Buyer in the order form. The contract is deemed finalized and binding between the parties only upon receipt of payment and issuance of a regular invoice.

Each submitted order constitutes an offer to purchase the Supplier’s services. Orders are subject to acceptance by the Supplier, who may refuse the Buyer’s order at their sole discretion in the event of:

– Errors in the payment or billing information provided.

– Errors on the website regarding the booked services, such as pricing or description errors.

 

In such cases, the Buyer will only be entitled to a full refund of the amount paid, with no further compensation.

Invoices will be issued digitally by Salus Internazionale Ecm Srl.

 

4) Payment Methods and Refunds

The Supplier accepts payment for ordered products via PayPal. Data provided is managed directly by PayPal. Information entered on the PayPal website is encrypted using state-of-the-art encryption systems, preventing unauthorized third-party access, and sent directly to the bank.

The Supplier reserves the right to request this data from PayPal in the event of issues and/or verification. Any refunds to which the Buyer is entitled will be made through PayPal, credited within a maximum of 30 days from the date the Supplier becomes aware of the cause generating the refund, as outlined in section 10.

 

5) Supplier Liability

The Supplier is responsible for the requested services until the Buyer or a third party designated by the Buyer physically takes possession of the goods.

 

6) Prices

All sales prices for the services displayed and indicated on this website are expressed in EURO and constitute a public offer under Article 1336 of the Italian Civil Code, inclusive of VAT. Prices indicated for each good offered to the public are valid until the order is placed and shown on the order summary web page. Consequently, prices and terms may be modified at any time, with the order summary page being definitive for the Buyer. The Supplier also reserves the right not to accept or fulfill orders due to pricing errors or other reasons. In such cases, the Supplier will refund the Buyer’s payment without further obligation.

7) Product Availability

The Supplier ensures the processing and fulfillment of orders via the telematic system. Should an order exceed the available quantity, the Supplier will inform the Buyer via email that the service is no longer bookable and ask whether they wish to confirm the order.

 

8) Limitations of Liability

The Supplier is not liable for service disruptions caused by force majeure if unable to fulfill the order within the agreed timeframe. The Supplier will not be held liable towards the Buyer, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, for internet-related malfunctions outside their control. Additionally, the Supplier is not responsible for damages, losses, or costs incurred by the Buyer due to non-fulfillment of the contract for reasons not attributable to them. The Supplier assumes no liability for fraudulent or illegal use by third parties of payment information, provided they have employed all available precautions at the time.

 

9) Buyer Obligations

The Buyer agrees to pay for the purchased goods within the timeframes and methods specified in the Contract. Upon completing the online purchase process, the Buyer agrees to print and keep the web page containing the order details. The Buyer acknowledges having reviewed and accepted the terms of this contract, displayed when finalizing the order.

 

10) Storage of the Contract

Under Article 12 of Legislative Decree 70/03, the Supplier informs the Buyer that every order is stored digitally on the server hosting the website, following confidentiality and security criteria.

 

11) Communications and Complaints

Written communications to the Supplier and any complaints will only be considered valid if sent to the email address congresso@simecongress.com. The Buyer provides their residence and domicile, telephone number, or email address in the registration form, which the Supplier will use for communications.

 

12) Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

For any disputes arising from this contract, should the Parties seek judicial recourse, the competent court will be that of Rome.

This contract is governed by Italian law.

 

13) Duration and Effectiveness of the Terms and Conditions

Order confirmation implies the Buyer’s acceptance of these general terms and conditions.

These terms may be updated or amended by adding new provisions to this website. Updates or amendments will apply to orders not yet placed or displayed on the printable order summary page.
